It’s hard to visualize that there once was a time when there was only three TV channels for people to choose from. That was an era when folks did not usually sit in front of the TV like they do today. In general, people were more active in general. They got outdoors more frequently.

Most Americans were fairly tickled pink with what choices they currently enjoyed. They didn’t have the urge to make a fuss about or compare and contrast their current service.

As time passed, numerous other channel options appeared on the scene. People eventually started groaning about the lack of variety in their programming choices. The situation grew and evolved to a point where the people demanded additional options. Now people could enjoy full featured movies with invent of cable television.

The developing for home entertainment was finally being realized in a big way. Now everyone could watch their broadcast channels or opt for a cable television package or choose to go with the great number of channels that are available with satellite television operators.
